Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has officially partnered with Netflix for the immersive pop-up experience, “Squid Game: The Trials.” Utilizing Samsung’s cutting-edge technology, the interactive experience brings fans of the Netflix series “Squid Game” and “Squid Game: The Challenge” into the iconic sets, allowing them to compete in games inspired by the shows. The pop-up experience is currently open in Los Angeles and will expand to various cities worldwide.
Samsung’s Smart TVs, including the flagship Neo QLED 8K, 4K, and The Frame, enhance the intensity and excitement of the games. The Neo QLED 8K, powered by the Neural Quantum Processor 8K, upscales content into breathtaking 8K resolution in real-time, immersing participants in the detailed world of the “Squid Game” universe.
At the entrance, Samsung’s flagship Neo QLED 8K welcomes visitors by showcasing the “Squid Game: The Challenge” trailer. Participants can also experience Samsung’s latest mobile innovations through various Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The S Pen, a crucial component in the Digital Dalgona Challenge, aids players in cutting delicate shapes out of Korean candy. The Galaxy S23 Ultra captures key moments with Hyperlapse video and high-quality pictures during the iconic Red Light, Green Light game.
